Classic Beef Japchae Recipe

Ingredients:

8 oz sweet potato noodles
1/2 lb beef, sliced thinly
1 onion, sliced
1 carrot, julienned
1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
1/2 yellow bell pepper, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
2 green onions, chopped

Instructions:

Cook the sweet potato noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté the onion, carrot, bell peppers, and garlic until softened.
Add the cooked noodles and beef back to the skillet. Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Vegetarian Mushroom Japchae Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 carrot, julienned
1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
1/2 yellow bell pepper, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
2 green onions, chopped

Instructions:
