Classic Tomato Bruschetta

Ingredients:

1 baguette, sliced
4 ripe tomatoes, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Top each toasted baguette slice with the tomato mixture.
