Classic Baked Beans on Toast
Ingredients:
1 can of baked beans
2 slices of bread
Butter
Steps:
Heat the baked beans in a saucepan over medium heat until hot.
Toast the bread until golden brown and spread butter on top.
Pour the hot baked beans over the buttered toast and serve immediately.
Baked Beans and Sausage Casserole
Ingredients:
1 can of baked beans
4 sausages
1 onion, chopped
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
Steps:
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Brown the sausages in a pan over medium heat, then slice them into bite-sized pieces.
In the same pan, sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
Add the baked beans, Worcestershire sauce, and sliced sausages to the pan and stir to combine.
Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and bake for 20 minutes, or until bubbly.
Baked Beans and Cheese Stuffed Potato Skins
Ingredients:
4 large potatoes
1 can of baked beans
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup of chopped green onions
Sour cream, for serving
Steps:
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Bake the potatoes until fork-tender, about 45 minutes.
Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise and scoop out the flesh, leaving a thin layer inside the skins.
Fill the potato skins with baked beans, top with shredded cheese, and bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
Sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve with a dollop of sour cream on top.
