Classic Chicken Shawarma Recipe
Ingredients:
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1/4 cup olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp turmeric
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, salt, and pepper.
Add chicken thighs to the marinade, making sure they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill chicken thighs for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly.

Ingredients:
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a bowl, mix together chickpeas, olive oil, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Spread chickpeas on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Warm up pita bread and top with roasted chickpeas, sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, and a drizzle of tahini sauce.
